Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality is progressing faster than ever recently and it’s stock investments are constantly on the rise. This new technology is extremely diverse in its uses and has been developing ever since the late 20th century. Virtual Reality can be used for gaming, work meetings, and training for jobs like the police. VR is also rising in the medical industry, it gives doctors and nurses the ability to practice surgery, dentistry, or emergency scenarios. Considering all of its benefits, VR seems to be the ideal technology that’ll help every one in every field, but it has its downsides. Research shows that people that use Virtual reality are more desensitized towards reality and become more anti social, they live their lives in virtual reality. Reports of people using VR include them having eye strains, becoming nauseous, or having headaches. It is recommended to use VR in an open space or have someone watching you because you lose your ability to see and hear while using VR, which might cause you to trip or bump into objects. Children should avoid using VR technology because there isn’t enough studies to warrant the technology being safe for kids, as it is already not safe for adults. Despite all it’s downsides, I hope that the technology develops even further because its benefits are extremely beneficial to individuals in the health industry, it could even give disabled individuals to do activities in VR that they cannot do in real life.
